About Molly Lindley Pisani
Molly Lindley Pisani is an editor based in New York City. She provides developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, and other publishing services to both authors and corporate clients, including several major publishers.
Prior to forming Star-Splitter Editorial Services in 2014, Molly spent five years as an editor at Simon & Schuster, where she acquired and edited titles including Rebecca Barry’s Recipes for a Beautiful Life, Dan de Visé’s Andy and Don, Su Meck’s I Forgot to Remember, and Greg Sestero and Tom Bissell’s The Disaster Artist. She has also worked at HarperCollins and for two boutique literary agencies, Lippincott Massie McQuilkin and the Beth Vesel Literary Agency.
Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Molly has also lived in Paris and London; she speaks fluent French and basic Spanish. She holds a BA in American Studies from Smith College and is a graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course, and she has participated in panels and presentations about book publishing for the Chatham University MFA program, the Writers League of Texas, the Smith College Book Studies program, and the Wilkes University MFA program.
Molly is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association.
